Crystal Visions Med Spa was officially born in November 2021. Prior to it being Crystal Visions, it was Abundant Amore, which focused mostly on energy healing and Reiki. In March 2021, skincare was added to the business and I knew that meant that it was time for a name change. I love the story of the name and all it signifies for me and my heart behind the business and serving my clients.
In the beginning, I was originally going to name my business Crystal Energy. I even bought the domain name. I wanted to call it Crystal Energy because lasers are based on Crystals and are Energy based. I also am also a Reiki master which is an energy-based healing modality and I use crystals in my sessions. The premise of my business is to help people feel their best from the inside (Reiki) and out (laser skin and body sculpting). The name seemed to fit but I still wasn't totally convinced.
Then one day, I got the inspiration that I needed. One of my greatest loves is Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. You’ll see signed Stevie memorabilia in my spa and home. I’ve seen her many times in concert and as I’m writing this, I’m planning a trip to see her live again in Las Vega next month. One morning I was getting ready for the day and had Stevie playing in the background, which is an everyday occurrence in my house. The song “Dreams” came on and there is a part where she sings “here I go again, I see the Crystal Visions”. As soon as I heard it, it was instantaneous! That was the name of my business. I immediately jumped up and searched the domain, and bought it. The rest is history.
You have to know how much I love them to understand how well it fits. And, I think it’s a cool name too. It incorporates everything I love about the business and Stevie. Fun fact- I have a Stevie shrine in my basement.
